    Description

For sale is a group of letters from the Stambaugh family.
WWI letters are sent to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, later WWII letters sent to Portland, Oregon.
WWI letters are from a pair of brothers I believe, Wilbert and George. One letter from Wilbert who was in C/16th Inf. mentions being in the trenches in May 1918.
Other WWI letters and postcards sent from George, who was in a Provisional Depot Bn. and later the 163rd Inf. One letter has 16th Engineers stationary.
One WWI letter sent from Leonard Berry to his cousin Clara Stambaugh.
Then several WWII letters sent to Clara (Stambaugh) Kiser, from her nephew Dale Stambaugh.
Some basic research (find a grave) I did from five years ago is also included.
    US Sales only.
