Up for your consideration is this
U.S. Army, Signal Corps M-205 chair or stool. I have tried to do some research on this chair and have not found much. It appears to have been used by the "Hello Girls" in WW1, as seen at "https://www.gjenvick.com/Military/WW1/HelloGirls/index.html"
. It is marked "I A Operators Chair ~ Western Electric USA" and "1-AS" on the bottom of the seat. It is also marked "
Signal Corps
U.S. Army ~ Chair
M-205 ~ Order No. 13524HP49-2 ~
Western Electric ~ Made In USA" on the back of the backrest. It has a metal seat, with canning over the metal.
