WW1 DIARY AND 2 LETTERS THAT WERE WRITTEN BY A SECOND DIVISION,COMPANY L 23RD US INFANTRY SOLDIER THAT TALKS ABOUT BEING WOUNDED BY MACHINEGUN IN HIS DIARY ON SEPTEMBER 4TH AT 3PM,THE DIARY IS FROM 1918 AND ABOUT HALF OF THE PAGES HAVE ENTRIES,IT ALSO TALKS ABOUT HIS CAPTAIN GETTING KILLED.THE SOLDIERS NAME IS G.E. STOCKERT FROM CANTON OHIO.ONE OF THE LETTERS IS WRITTEN FROM THE HOSPITAL AFTER HE WAS WOUNDED THE OTHER LETTER WAS WRITTEN SEPTEMBER 1ST 1918 3 DAYS BEFORE HE GOT WOUNDED AND TALKS ABOUT A GERMAN AEROPLANE,YOU COULD HEAR THEM SHOOTING AT IT.VERY HARD TO FIND WW1 DIARIES ESPECIALLY FROM A 2ND DIVISION WOUNDED SOLDIER.
