Here is FANTASTIC MICRO MOSAIC BROOCH & PENDANT with wonderful colors and fine workmanship set in a gold frame and made from some of the FINER TESSERAE. The theme is a PEASANT MAN PLAYING some type of STRINGED INSTRUMENT.....JUST LOOK AT THE VIBRANT COLORS and the WORKMANSHIP!! There are a few missing tesserae in the area of the neck of the STRINGED instrument, but it does not detract greatly from the aesthetics of the piece.
The brooch measures approximately 2 3/8 inches by 2 inch....a LARGE PIECE INDEED.
