Vintage all original 1930's 1931 extremely rare and hard to find Yehudi Menuhin concert program from the Golden Age Of Opera operatic music.Menuhin was an American-born violinist and conductor.
This item is from the estate of Dorothy Crowthers who was the Editor-In-Chief Of The Baton magazine of The Institute Of Musical Art Of The Juilliard School Of Music from 1922 to 1932. The program is bound in a heavy stock 12 3/4" by 9 3/4" yellow outer folder (and black yarn page holder binding) with clear yellow cellophane paper as the second and next to last page. The front cover has a round cut-out that shows Menuhin's face from the third page after the yellow cellophane. The title page reads "Grande Salle Pleyel, Lundi 21 Decembre 1931 A 21 Heures Precises, Concert Donne Par, Yehudi Menuhin, Georges Enesco, Pierre Monteux, L' Orchestre Symphonique de Paris, Prix 10 Frs.". There are 20 heavy stock pages in the program all loaded with Menuhin info and photos photographs along with the other performers. The program shows lots of storage wear and some damage as pictured. I have more photos on auction now and I will be listing many other photos from the estate some signed and some unsigned in the near future.
