    Description

    Mary Mannering
    as
    Janice Meredith
Up for auction is "Mary Mannering as Janice Meredith".  This 16 (un-numbered) page soft-cover book measures approximately 9 by 12.25 inches in size.  It has grey paper covers that are pictorially stamped/embossed, along with a black and white photographic paper label on the front cover.  The book is held together with a light brown string binding.  There are numerous black and white photographs or illustrations throughout.  The photographs were scenes from the play "Janice Meredith" that were taken especially for this book, which served as a souvenir program book for that show.  The book is a first edition, and was published by R. H. Russell, of New York, in 1901.
The soft cover book is in good vintage condition, with no missing or torn pages, no writing on any of the pages, and minimal soiling and wear internally.  However, there is significant wear to the covers, which includes chipping and small tears along the outside edges of both front and back covers, as well as a split to the covers along the spine (which runs throughout almost the entire top half of the spine).  Due to the condition of the covers, this item is being sold "as is".
Terms:  All sales final.  Paypal only.  I w
ill ship USPS mail.  The shipping and handling charges are for the continental United States only.  All others must wait for a revised invoice with additional charges for air mail service.
Thank you for looking.  If you have any questions or would like additional information or pictures, please e-mail me as I would be happy to provide additional details.  Please note that all items being sold come from a smoke-free and pet-free home.  I am not a professional dealer, and am simply downsizing after years of collecting.  I try very hard to accurately list and describe the condition of each item that I sell, and can appreciate the frustration of receiving an item that is not as described.  Being human, I will occasionally make a mistake, and may miss a flaw or imperfection that would leave one dissatisfied with their purchase.  If this occurs, and you feel that the item you receive is not as described, please contact me immediately.  My goal is that each individual who buys from me is happy with their purchase.
