Dreidel Sevivon Judaica Hanukkah Bezalel Chanuka Replica Moshe Murro 1929
This is a lovely  replica of a Bezalel dreidel, designed by Moshe Murro (Israeli, 1888-1957).
Signed: "Bezalel Jerusalem" and "Murro".
Height: 6 cm.
Condition: Age appropriate wear on all sides. Please see photos for details.
Details of the Original Dreidel:
Dreidel made of cast bronze, the creation of the artist Moshe Murro. Signed: Bezalel Jerusalem".
On the upper part of the dreidel, the inscription "Nes Gadol Haya Sham".
On each of the dreidel's sides appears one of the following letters "נ-ג-ה-ש".
Beside each letter, a historical-Jewish motif or event: the Menorah, an oil jug, "Judah defeated" and "Judah liberated".
On the lower part of the dreidel, decorations of plants, Murro's name in Hebrew and English and the year: 1929.
Moshe Murro (1888-1957), one of the greatest artists of Bezalel and Israeli art-designers.
He set up an Amulet workshop to restore old ivory or stone amulets at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem
