An estate found, vintage
early twentieth century 14K solid yellow gold stickpin with a round bezel-set amethyst & white cultured pearl accent in the center
. Offered with no reserve and a low opening bid.
The stickpin measures 2.5” long overall with a 1/2” diameter setting and weighs
2.7 grams

Unmarked but has been tested (by us) and is guaranteed to be solid 14K.
Condition:
this is an antique gold stick pin that has been gently worn. The patina of the gold is shiny with very slight wear. (Under magnification with a 10X loupe one miniscule pinhead size surface-only skip on the edge of one facet on the back side of the amethyst at the approximate 8:00 position, minor and quite possibly in the making – does not affect the integrity of the item). The pin bar is straight with a factory curve at the top to accommodate the convex back of the mounting. See photos for details and specifics of the condition.
