c1900 Beautiful 14k Gold Diamond Pearl Floral Pin / Brooch
Presented is a beautiful 14 karat gold, pearl and diamond pin or brooch. This
piece dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s, and is likely of American make.
The pin is done in the form of two flowers, with blister or 'Mississippi' type
pearls as the flower petals, half-drilled and securely post set. In the center
of each flower is a sparkling old mine cut diamond of about 10-12 points in
size, in a secure prong setting. The diamonds are vibrant, dazzling stones of
VVS to VS-1 clarity and F color. The pin has an old C style clasp.
This pin is in great condition. The diamonds and pearls are securely set and
in great shape. The clasp functions well and closes securely. There are no
breaks and no repairs.
The pin is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested it with nitric acid
and guarantee it to be 14 karat gold.
The pin is about 1 1/8 inches long by about half an inch.
This piece weighs 3.9 grams.
