    Presented is a lovely 14 karat gold, seed pearl and black enamel pin or brooch.
    This piece dates to around 1890-1905, and was likely made in America. The pin is
    done in the form of a flowering wreath, with black enamel for the leaves and
    petals and little seed pearls in the centers of the flowers. The pin has an old
    C style clasp in the back, as well as a loop where a dangle or pendant could be
    added.
    The pin is in good overall condition. The black enamel has had significant
    touching-up, but this is hard to notice without close, careful inspection. The
    clasp functions well and closes securely.
    This piece is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested it with nitric
    acid and guarantee it to be 14 karat gold.
    The pin is about 1 inch in diameter.
