Assorted 1950 Railroad Train Training Manuals, Time Books, and Miscellaneous

For auction is an assortment of railroad manuals, Enginemen's time books and miscellaneous most of it from the 1950s. There are four completed time books from 1956, 1957, 1958 and 1961. These show the dates, the engine number of the train, and the number of miles traveled along with other information that went into wage calculation. There are also five training manuals from 1952 & 1953 from the American Locomotive Company, General Electric. These deal with various aspects of operating locomotives with various types of engines. There are three operating manuals from 1948, 1952 and 1953, and a well-used Manual for Enginemen. Among other miscellaneous items is a "Valve Gears" study manual from 1940 from the American School.
