    Description

    This multidimensional and strikingly beautiful mid-nineteenth century French adornment centers on a large glowing garnet cabochon enhanced by four graduated rays of tiny lustrous half pearls that form a stylized Maltese cross. The central adornment rests upon on a gently domed shield encircled with tiny graduated dots. The pendant / brooch culminates in silky swag fringe tipped with vibrant garnet drops. Finely crafted in 18k gold with French hallmarks. Superb.
