    Description

    18k yellow gold Victorian crescent moon pin. There is a bubble glass on the front which did or does contain hair. Engraved MMVR on the back. Measures 1" wide and weighs 4 grams. It is hard to see if there is hair inside still as the crystal appears blurred. Please see our other auctions for a pair of heart earrings that seem similarly made and the woven blond hair inside is very visible. The outer edges of the moon are set with faceted black onyx. Overall very good condition though 2 stones have abraded tops and a couple have  flat tops which appears lighter in color in the photo only. Shipped with USPS First Class.
