ANTIQUE 14K GOLD DIAMOND STICKPIN WITH ROMAN OBSIDIAN WARRIOR INTAGLIO
An antique solid 14/15 carat gold (tests thereabouts) stickpin, set with rose-cut diamonds around a probably ancient Roman obsidian intaglio of a classical warrior (or similar).
Lovely quality, so collectible & wearable too!
CONDITION
: All original and very, very good. Slightest signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Scratches to stone, see pics.
DEFECTS
: None.
DATE/MARKS
: Intaglio ancient, mounted in the early 19th Century. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS
: 3 ¼ inches long, head mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
WEIGHT
: Approx. 3.8 grams.
