American Victorian Etruscan Revival 14k Gold Citrine Pin 1870s
Presented is a wonderful quality 14k gold Victorian pin.  This piece is done in
the Etruscan revival style.  It was made in the 1870's or 1880's.  This pin is
almost certainly American.  There are no hallmarks on this piece but we have
tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be a minimum of 14k gold.  Two
oval faceted bezel set citrines are on either end of the piece.  There is a
rope edging around each citrine.  The center bar has bead work on either side.
The flat part of a bar has an applied flower and leaves.
The condition is excellent.  There are no scratches, abrasions or chips to
either of the stones. The gold work is in perfect condition.  There are no
dents, no breaks, no repairs and no missing pieces.  The clasp, the hinge, and
the pin back all work well.
Each citrine measures 10  by 8 mm. This pin measures 1 9/16 inches or 39 mm
from citrine to citrine.
A fine quality piece.  You will not be disappointed.
