The booklet is titled
Agra: City of the Taj.
It measures 9" x 8" and has 24 pages. The map opens to 17" x 14¼" and folds into a pocket inside the rear cover.
Details on the map include railways, hotels, petrol stations, bridges on the Yamuna River, restaurants, schools, public offices, and more. An inset shows Jama Masjid, Fatehpur Sikri.
The text in the booklet covers Sikandra, the Red Fort, the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah, Fatehpur Sikri, and the Taj Mahal, a white marble mausoleum commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
The booklet was produced for the Department of Tourism, Government of India, by the India Tourism Development Corporation. It was printed by Prasad Process Private Ltd., Madras, circa 1975.
