Description
1885 Omaha Railroad Ledger Minnesota & Wisconsin Local Tickets on Hand & SoldDimensions: 13 3/4" x 17 1/4" Hard board binding with leather spine and corners.
1895 Ledger entries show the daily record of closing numbers and monthly statements of local tickets on hand and sold on the left page. The right hand side shows the station and the month and the date.
There are 30 sets of pages(left and Right), and the first set is blank( I think an example page for how to fill it out). Blank page shows the Saint Paul & Minneapolis, Black River Falls, Merrillan, Saint Paul, Merrillan, Saint Paul, Hudson, Chippewa Falls stations listed.
The rest of the book has submissions on every page, with some pages containing as many as 50 submissions on a page.
These are the towns that are listed: Elroy, Camp Douglas, Black River Falls, Merrillan, Augusta, Eau Claire, Rusk, Menomonie Junction, Knapp, Wilson, Hersey, Woodville, Baldwin, Hammond, Burkhardt, Roberts, Boardman, New Richmond, Deer Park, Clear Lake, Richardson, Clayton, Turtle Lake, Perley, Cumberland, Barronette, Shell Lake, Spooner, Superior Junction, Lakeside, Gordon, White Birch, Veazie, Stinnett, Hayward, Cable, Drummond, Mason, West Superior, Oak Park, Hudson, River Falls, South Stillwater, Stillwater Junction, Lake Elmo, Oakdale, Saint Paul, Minneapolis, Chippewa Falls, East 7th Street, Springbrook, Bennett Siding, Hawthorne, Oak Park.
Some other towns: Prescott Road, Hazel Park, Rice Lake in Eau Claire, Ellsworth, Adrian, Glovers, Sheldon, Saint Peter, North Wisconsin Junction, Midvale, Beldonville, Mankato.
This covers most of the towns in the lists that I saw. There may be a few others that are not mentioned.
Overall, interior pages are clean. All pages have some light toning here and there. The back two pages(one text page front and back, and back inside blank pages) an front inside blank pages have soiling/darker toning, stains. Last blank page has a 1" tear center outside edge. The first page has a three inch split along the bottom of the page up against the spine (on the left hand page). Spine is missing all of the leather, so back and front boards are loose, and someone applied tape over the existing leather strips(spine side) on covers to hold it together. The rest of the book is intact with no loose pages.
